Creating gold in Paeroa since 1914
Firmly set in the gold mining history of the area, the building was originally commissioned as the National Bank Gold Refinery in 1914. The solid concrete walls, double height stud, and rimu timber beams are certainly fit for purpose. A large, light-filled space, which manages to be cosy and welcoming; armchairs and a roaring fire in the winter; in summer, a rustic garden with Virginia creeper-covered walls, vege gardens, and a cafe
cat or two.
